ROYAL DECREE
PRESCRIBING WORKS RELATING TO OCCUPATION AND
PROFESSION IN WHICH AN ALIEN IS PROHIBITED TO ENGAGE,
B.E. 2522 (1979)

Given on the 11th Day of March B.E. 2522;
Being the 34th year of the Present Reign.
His Majesty King BhumibolAdulyadej is graciously pleased to proclaim that:
Whereas it is expedient to prescribe works relating to occupation and profession in which an alien is prohibited to engage;
By virtue of section 159 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand and section 6 of the Working of Aliens Act. B.E. 2521, the King hereby issues a Royal Decree as follows:
Section 1. This Royal Decree is called the "Royal Decree proscribing works relsting to occupation and profession in which an alien is prohibited to engage, B.E. 2522"
Section 2. This Royal Decree shall come into force as from the day following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette*.
Section 3. The following shall be repealed:
(1) the Royal Decree prescribing works relating to occupation and profession in which an alien is prohibited to engage, B.E. 2516;
(2) Royal Decree prescribing works relating to occupation and profession in which an alien is prohibited to engage (No. 2) , B.E. 2519;
(3) Royal Decree prescribing works relating to occupation and profession in which an alien is prohibited to engage (No. 3), B.E. 2520.
Section 4. Works relating to occupation and profession as specified in the Schedule attached hereto are those in which an alien is absolutely prohibited to engage, in all localities within the Kingdom, for commercial purpose or earning income.
Section 5. The Minister of Interior shall have charge and control of the execution of this Royal Decree.
